Archipelago proudly welcomes Ali Nooshin, a seasoned finance expert, as the latest addition to our advisory team. Ali, a former hedge fund manager and senior finance executive at Livingston International and Deloitte Canada, brings his extensive experience in corporate and investment finance to our network. His joining reflects our shared vision to empowering small firms with financial expertise that typically are only available to larger entities.

From High-Level Finance to Helping Small Business Owners

As a former Canadian Forces marine engineer, Ali has a unique background that blends technology, finance, accounting, and risk management. His career path has taken him from advising boutique hedge funds on risk and investment strategies to guiding multi-national companies in areas such as taxes, profitability, and budgeting. In 2018, Ali founded Nooshin Professional Corp, a modern, technology-focused firm dedicated to bookkeeping, tax filing, and advisory services, catering exclusively to small to medium-sized businesses.

Ali holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Financial Risk Manager.

Ali’s Role at Archipelago

Ali’s primary role at Archipelago will be guiding our financial strategy and supporting our ongoing mission to empower member firms. His expertise will provide member firms with insights to navigate financial complexities, optimize performance, and seize growth opportunities.

Furthermore, Ali will actively engage in our knowledge-sharing initiatives, offering his expertise through webinars and personalized one-on-one sessions. These sessions will be tailored to the specific challenges faced by smaller firms in the architectural and engineering industry.
